The changes in the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS Phase 5) will come into effect in Belgium from January 21st 2025 (00:00:01 AM CET). From then on, the previous Phase 4 version can no longer be used. These updates are part of the EU's effort to modernize and harmonize customs processes across member states and participating countries. The Belgian customs will implement the Automated Export System (AES) to replace the current PLDA Export system. This change will impact export, dispatch, and re-export after storage in customs bonded warehouse processes. Ensure your company is prepared for this transition.
